Hello! My name is Renee Hanna. I am the founder & owner of Silly Spoons LLC. This exciting new venture combines my passions for food and working with children. For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed being in the kitchen. Whether it was watching and learning from family members or just enjoying meals with loved ones, the kitchen has always been a place I've felt most connected. As my own family grew, dinner time became essential to our every day routine and sharing homemade desserts makes for unforgettable memories. My experiences as an elementary educator opened my eyes to the endless opportunities for learning. My vision is to use the culinary arts to foster self confidence, enrich oral language, develop fine motor skills, enforce math/science concepts, build teamwork, and encourage creativity. All while instilling a life long love for everything culinary!
Hello! My name is Stephanie Contento and I have been assisting Renee at Silly Spoons for the past year. I knew from the onset that Silly Spoons was a perfect fit for me! My first job in high school was working in a local bakery and growing up I was always the “go to babysitter”. My fondest memories as a child were baking in the kitchen with my Nana. I love working with children and enjoy watching them as they express their creativity with cooking and baking. Silly Spoons is so much fun and I am so proud and excited to be part of Renee’s business venture.
Hi everyone! My name is Miranda Watto and I’m so excited to be a part of Silly Spoons! I’m currently studying at West Chester University for Nutrition/Dietetics with a minor in Psychology. I absolutely love the major and minor I’ve chosen because I’ve always been so interested in nutrition and being able to help people reach their goals. Working with kids is one of my favorite things to do! I’ve babysat for as long as I could remember, worked at a children’s camp in the summer at my church for a few years, and I’ve worked at children’s birthday parties as a face painter (fun fact: art is also one of my hobbies!). Silly Spoons is the perfect environment for me; getting to work with kids and having food involved is the best job ever! I can’t wait to see Silly Spoons grow and I can’t wait to see the happiness on parents and their children’s faces while they take part in this awesome program!
Hey! My name is Stevie Bartholomai and I am currently a sophomore at West Chester University pursing my major of Early Childhood Education! I’ve wanted to be a teacher practically my whole life and realized that this was the career for me when I had graduated high school. I’ve taught at a children’s fitness center for almost 2 years now and love getting to work with all different ages, anywhere from 6 months to 6 years! My parents also happen to own a bakery in the area leading me into being involved in the food business for my whole life. With that being said, finding out about Silly Spoons was basically a match made in heaven. I can’t wait to start this new chapter, and especially can’t wait to meet all of the new, smiling faces! See you soon!
