These interactive classes will teach culinary basics, reinforce math/reading/science skills, foster teamwork, and encourage creativity. New polices & procedures to keep your children safe
Drop off/Pick upThere will be a contact free parent drop off and pick up via car line.
MasksRequired for children and adults when inside PA businesses.
SanitationHand washing will be required upon entry and frequently during sessions.Employees will disinfect and sanitize surfaces before, during, & after sessions.Employees will always wear gloves when handling food.
OccupancyClasses will be limited to a maximum of 12 children.
Consumption of FoodThere will be no consumption of food during sessions. Food will be packaged to take home and enjoy.
Personal SpaceThere will be two children seated per table to allow for social distancing.Each table will receive their own sanitized set of measuring tools and utensils.Sharing of ingredients will be closely monitored and limited.
Temperatures/IllnessParents will be responsible for taking their child’s temperature before class. A temperature of 100.4 or higher is deemed unsafe to attend class.
Outside Items No outside food, drink, toys, etc will be permitted to enter the facility unless medically necessary. Water will be provided.
ApronsCleaned and sanitized cloth aprons will be provided to any child who wishes to wear one.

Cancellation Policy: Here at Silly Spoons, we are unique in that the food for our classes is ordered well in advance of each class. We also purchase food based upon the number of children participating in each class. Due to these operational costs and the fact that our food is perishable, all purchases are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we understand that kids do get sick or that plans may change for unforeseen reasons. If this happens and you expect to miss a class we simply require that you provide us with written notice 48 hours prior to event date and class credit will be issued. Credit may be used towards another class within 1 year. No-shows or cancellations made with less than 48-hours notice of the class will NOT be credited as food will have already been purchased and we will have already staffed for the event.
We do NOT use peanuts or tree nuts in any of our recipes. However, we often use eggs, dairy, and wheat in our recipes. We will do our best to accommodate your child's allergy if given advance notice. Parents are encouraged to discuss concerns with the facility ahead of time. Food should be fun for everyone!
